Where is Rune?

My second work related trip outside Europe. I combined the trip with a vacation in Indonesia afterwards. I had an open-jaw ticket with Lufthansa (outbound to Manila, inbound from Jakarta).

Philippines, 28 – 31 October

We stayed at Shangri-La Makati, Metro Manila. Factory visit in Laguna, south of Manila.

Taiwan, 31 October – 4 November

We stayed at Kuva Chateau, Chung-Li. Factory visits in Chung-Li and Hsinchu. On the last evening, our factory contact invited us to Taipei for some drinks, and we checked into Grand Hyatt Taipei, where I and my boss got a room upgrade. We donated one of the rooms to the factory representative and his girlfriend, while sharing the other room…

The room at Grand Hyatt Taipei has a separate living room and bedroom.

Indonesia, 4 – 21 November

Vacation. Visits to Jakarta and Balikpapan. This was my first visit to Balikpapan, where I stayed at Blue Sky Hotel (paid by Caecil’s employer).
