Beach House Balikpapan

Last weekend we paid a visit to the newly opened Beach House Restaurant here in Balikpapan, or more correctly, at Batakan beach just outside the city.
The big reason to come here is not the (pricey) food, but the superbly designed area in which the restaurant lies. Tables and chairs, with or without roof, are scattered around a beautifully decorated garden at the beach front.

It’s worth it….!!! I’ve been there last Sunday (Aug 16, ’09) and we enjoy it very much! My kids like it as well as my husband, my sister and bro in law. It’s okay with the food and the price as the view really worth the price haha….. We stay there from sunset until almost 10 pm and promise will go back there soon….!
At least there’s a “Kudeta in Bali -kpapan”
