Where is Rune?

Today I went to two offices: Catatan Sipil (the civil registration office) and Polda Metro (the police), to renew my SKSKP/KIP and SKLD/STM respectively.

Papers submitted at Catatan Sipil:

1. Sponsor letter (with stamp duty).
2. Two photos on red background, 2×3 cm.
3. Old KIP card.
4. Copy of sponsor’s KTP.
5. Copy of KITAS card.
6. Copy of relevant passport pages.
7. Copy of relevant POA book pages.
8. Copy of marriage certificate.

Legal fee: Rp 30k.
Processing time: 1 week.

Papers submitted at Polda Metro:

1. Sponsor letter (with stamp duty).
2. Two photos on red background, 2×3 cm.
3. Old SKLD card.
4. Copy of sponsor’s KTP (2x).
5. Copy of KITAS card (2x).
6. Copy of relevant passport pages (2x).
7. Copy of relevant POA book pages.

Legal fee: Rp 100k.
Processing time: 2 days for STM and 2 weeks for SKLD.

In both offices they tried to levy an additional illegal fee, which I refused to pay of course.
