Today is a great day, because I just picked up a letter at the Directorate General of Immigration, granting me permanent residence (KITAP), signed by the director himself, Bambang Irawan.
The KITAP is valid for 5 years.
Here is a map of the locations of all the inspected properties. Not all are included in the map, but most. R22 is the purchased property.

I just submitted my application for KITAP (permanent residence) this morning to Imigrasi at Cipinang. My papers were obviously in perfect order, because my application was accepted without questions. The attachments were the same as my KITAS renewal a few feeks ago. I will return next Wednesday.
Now sitting at Starbucks, Skyline building, enjoying my morning coffee.
I had the unusual experience of being bitten by a possibly rabies infected dog here in Bali on 11 June. We visited a gallery near Ubud where two dogs were roaming around, and one of the dogs, a mentally unstable golden retriever, suddenly attacked and bit me when I was carelessly touching it. I had a rabies vaccination shot to be on the safe side.
