Today marks a significant mile stone for me. I handed in my resignation letter to my boss at the company that I have been working for the last 10 years. It is time for me to do something different.
I am not really sure where my feet will take me, but I have booked a flight to Colombo, Sri Lanka on 1 September.
Another work related trip. I had a ticket to Manila with Lufthansa.
We stayed at Shangri-La Makati, Metro Manila. Factory visit in Laguna, south of Manila.
We stayed at Ambassador Hotel in Hsinchu. Factory visits in Chung-Li and Hsinchu. The last evening was spent in Taipei, and we checked into Grand Hyatt Taipei.

My second work related trip outside Europe. I combined the trip with a vacation in Indonesia afterwards. I had an open-jaw ticket with Lufthansa (outbound to Manila, inbound from Jakarta).

On the last evening, our factory contact invited us to Taipei for some drinks, and we checked into Grand Hyatt Taipei, where I and my boss got a room upgrade. We donated one of the rooms to the factory representative and his girlfriend, while sharing the other room…

Vacation. Visits to Jakarta and Balikpapan. This was my first visit to Balikpapan, where I stayed at Blue Sky Hotel (paid by Caecil’s employer).
