Implementing Google Maps API V3

I’m now finally done migrating from version 2 to version 3 of the Google Maps API, and all maps (so far 55) on this website are now implemented using Google Maps API V3.

In addition, I have improved/added some extra stuff:

  • Custom parsing of gpx files (from GPS devices) to javascript.
  • Replaced the crappy inline frames with divs.
  • Custom button to enlarge maps, in javascript.
  • Custom info windows, using the Google InfoBox library.
  • Clustering of many markers using the Google MarkerClusterer library.

And all is HTML5 and CC2 compliant!
